Founded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 2003, the International Hyperhidrosis Society brings together physicians, academicians, and people with hyperhidrosis and those who care for them.
The mission of the International Hyperhidrosis Society is to provide objective, accurate, and balanced information about hyperhidrosis and its treatment.
As a nonprofit society, we provide an independent source of scientific knowledge, while promoting research into and awareness of the physiological, psychological, and economic effects of excessive sweating.
At our core, we're an advocate for hyperhidrosis patients and the medical professionals who care for them. As such, the International Hyperhidrosis Society will strive to ensure access to effective treatment, thereby improving the quality of life for and diminishing the suffering of those affected by this medical condition.
